Contesting of CSD

[edit]

I do not believe that the article falls under the criteria of CSD. Though I did not create the page and have not edited it much, I feel that it does meet the criteria of WP:N. There is enough detail regarding his career and past currently present that makes the article both worthwhile and informative. Admittedly some of it does read like an advertisement, but that is nothing that a quick copyedit could not fix. His close personal relationship with the band due to his photography (as opposed to his relations) have made him, I would argue, as synonymous with the band's artwork as Anton Corbijn is with U2. Given how recently the article was created and the amount of content that is already present, I'm certain that a few more days of editing would without a doubt indicate that the subject is important and/or significant.
