Broward didn't win this year, Valencia did.

Firstly: could the above user please sign eir comments on talk pages? Secondly: this page drastically needs extension. Brain Bowl is a blanket term describing any number of academic competitions at secondary and tertiary levels. This article is only valid if the definition of "Florida" is extended on a large scale. I'm no expert, but I highly doubt that Seoul and Qatar counts as Florida. In sum, this needs an edit.

I agree. While Brain Bowl as it's currently run may have started in Florida (Or so I've heard... I'm sticking a sources needed tag on myself on that one, though), it is by no means confined to Florida or even the US. Nor is it confined to community colleges. If I can find some time in the next few days I'll try to rewrite this article for bredth and accuracy... though I may need someone else to come in behind me with some good sources, if they can find them.
