Appearances in media?[edit]
Should anyone wish to add it, the station appears in Alfred Hitchcock's The Paradine Case (1947) at around the 38 minute mark. A second unit team filmed footage of a train pulling into the scenic station, with a double for Gregory Peck exiting the train. The front of the station was then mocked up back in the US and Hitchcock made his cameo appearance as a man exiting the station.
