Housing[edit]

"More middle-class homes....." So the posh houses there are owned by the aristocracy and the landed gentry are they? No, they are owned by richer middle-class people too. Famous Residents[edit]

Does anyone know any more famous residents of Bramhall (Both past and present)? I know Ole Gunnar Solskjær lives there, but don't want to just add him onto the page without naming a few others. Adzer 04:31, 01 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tim Howard, Peter Schmeichel used to live there I think and Ryan Giggs too. A lot of Coronation Street stars, I think Richard Fleeshman does or did, David Dickenson definitly did, Sarah Harding, George Best, Rio Ferdinand I hope this helps! ~~CD

Landmarks[edit]

This section says

greatest examples of 14th century Cheshire buildings

What does this mean? The word "Cheshire" links to the page about this city, but there is no information there about architecture of the area. Dairyground[edit]

The Dairyground estate is massive, enough to constitute a small village of its own. The estate includes amenities that any village would include such as a large Secondary school (and argubly Pownall Green Primary School), doctor/dentist, shops and a bus service. Therefore I think it should have an article of its own, any ideas or comments on this ? Sansonic (talk) 19:27, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A nice idea, but I'm uncertain an estate constitutes a village. Technically, the secondary school is in Bramhall, as is the whole estate. How do you define "massive"? The estate has more residents than an area such as Woodford. Dairyground has more than 25 roads, it is also an economically diverse area. House prices on the estate start at £150,000 for a flat all the way up to £2,000,000 for a detached house on the leafy roads of Pownall Avenue & Ladythorn Grove.
