Lampoon

I would also replace the subtitle "Lampoon" with "Television References" or a similar title. While the town has been the target of ridicule in the Simpsons cartoon and other places, it has also been treated more favorably in the Donald Westlake novel "Baby Would I Lie", and has been the setting for movies and videos featuring musicians who have performed there.

Entertainment

Though a lot of entertainers opened, or built, places in Branson, a lot of those places have closed or changed ownership due to the original entertainers either dying or retiring. I think this needs to be mentioned as well --- with specifics. For example, what happened to Glen Campbell's and Andy Williams' places after they retired and died? 2600:8800:395:B000:964:ADCE:B322:9BC3 (talk) 01:25, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
