Document FISA database errors

Date of foundation[edit]

The article says that the date of foundation is unknown, however the Club's web site states it was founded in 1815[1]. Which is it? Greenshed 10:55, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New article[edit]

Since the copyvio notice was added, I have started a new article based on material that is not in the possible copyright infringement page under Talk:Brasenose_College_Boat_Club/Temp. — Jonathan Bowen (talk) 12:26, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a message on the talk page of one of the IPs editing this article recently, but will make a note here in case it gets missed.

Please don't remove {{fact}} tags without adding a source
Please don't use non-neutral language like "Brasenose College Boat Club can also boast many great oarsmen in its history" - no boasting allowed in Wikipedia!

Also, please don't link to Head of the River Race when discussing the Jesus v Brasenose race of 1815, because that article is about the London race established in 1926, and please don't add links to articles in sub-headings, because that's a breach of MOS:HEAD. It's good to see college articles being maintained by apparently current members of the university. Just a couple of small points for the Historical overview section. Are you sure Woodgate stroked the 1868 "cox overboard" four? Göran Buckhorn's usually reliable Hear the boat sing blog puts Woodgate in the third seat. Also, though I believe there were women coxes (Jane Reid-Kay from 1974 and Jayne Potter from 1975) the claim that "A women's boat club was established with the admission of women undergraduates in 1974" needs a reference. Old rowing outfit[edit]
