Chart success

[edit]

Despite what the citation claims, Official Charts shows no presence for "Just Like Fighting Shadows", Emma Kirke, "Smile Awhile", Bravado Cartel or RedStar. I suggest it was just typical record label hype - also is this outfit still in existence? The existing article is somewhat vague as to the present status of the band. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 22:32, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

They are very much still going having just released two new singles- see https://open.spotify.com/artist/33ZIE3ltkvEwAk1OvVd6R8?si=UJZ3aJw5RSKFR1-FtiaGgg
also very active on social media and regularly gigging in venues across West Yorkshire 82.23.146.129 (talk) 11:20, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, in that case, can some kind soul who has more interest in the subject matter than I, please update the page accordingly, and remove erroneous details of 'Top 40 hits'. Thanks. - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 12:52, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Here is a screenshot of the iTunes chart (as claimed in the article) at the time. Once a searchable source has been found the article will also be updated. Another person, I believe will update the reference for the other single.

Probably worthwhile familiarising yourselves then with Wikipedia:Record charts, before proceeding much further. For example, those editing guidelines note "iTunes: Charts pertaining to only one specific retailer should not be used". - Derek R Bullamore (talk) 16:42, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
