NPOV tag

Is there any reason to keep this on the article? I have no reason to re-ignite previous flame wars but they are stale and come to a pretty obvious conclusion. SchmuckyTheCat

I think the tag can be pulled. There's enough cited information here to meet Wiki requirements. Then again, I'm evil and biased, so there you go.Jodyw1 17:49, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Since no one posted an disagreement, I went ahead and pulled the NPOV tag. Jodyw1 15:21, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

Big bold archiving

I archived all the old talk as it seems to be ... old and resolved. If something still needs to be sorted feel free to civilly present what you think needs to be changed and why and other editors can offer their take on the issue(s). Banjeboi 06:34, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Birth name

Per recent discussions on BLP board, I have removed the birth name on BLP grounds (it also lacks a reliable source).. . --Jkp212 (talk) 19:14, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Well I had added a source but now have put in a few more so we can move on from this. He was intertwined in a murder trial so it's not surprising that this got coverage from LGBT, porn and mainstream media. My money's on the murder becoming a made-for-TV movie. Banjeboi 20:08, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
I suppose a murder trial does make including his name, notable. But I'm still somewhat uncomfortable that an 'adult entertainment' actor being "outed" (god so many euphemisms going on in this sentence). Mark t young (talk) 20:14, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
Really? His many publicity appearances and extremely high-profile public life would seem to suggest he's not bothered. It's just his birth name and everyone else seems to know it so it's now sourced with multiple reliable sources so we have it in the article as well. I stopped at 6-7 refs but there was certainly more. Banjeboi 20:31, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
True, but I am uncomfortable with it in general. After reading the discussion at BLP, I agree that in general their "true names" should be left out unless there is a good reason to include. But as you say he has made many publicity appearances and there has been some, legal, issues regarding him. I have no problem with his birth name in the article. Mark t young (talk) 20:36, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
I tend to agree with User:Mark t young that true names should generally be left out. But you've made a good argument for inclusion in this case. --Jkp212 (talk) 22:08, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
What I've seen is the test of multiple reliable sources. Thousands of blogs don't count but once it's reported multiple times in reliable sources then it's much less of an issue. Banjeboi 22:52, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Brent Corrigan or Sean Lockhart

Is this an article about Brent Corrigan or Sean Lockhart? It starts off as if about Sean Lockhart, but then refers to him as Corrigan throughout. He might be better known as Corrigan, but if Corrigan is a stage name, Corrigan would not have information useful to the police, etc. Richardson mcphillips (talk) 03:32, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

They are one and the same and the article is set up according to our manual of style where we give both or all names used. And actually, his involvement with the police was related to the work he did with his stage name. Banjeboi 12:37, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
