Major Edit.[edit]

I have edited this article to change what appeared to be a blatant piece of publicity; a fan web site; a fan forum; with a liberal use of unsubstantiated quotes, (however true or untrue), adjectives and superlatives. Wikipedia articles are not owned by the person or object of the article, or those closely associated with them/it, or acting on their/its behalf. They are not extensions of promotional or any other web sites, persons or organisations. An editor close to the subject of an article can initiate, build and develop that article, and in fact they might be the best to do it, but must at all times be aware of the possibility of slipping into personal opinion and hyperbole of their own, or of repeating that of others, unless text is linked to an external published source for that opinion; that source cannot be a band web site or myspace etc which by its nature would be promotional... this article, before the major edit, was lifted wholesale from a promotional web site with unsourced claims.

The article as it now stands has been reduced to show only disinterested information. Much of what remains is still not linked to adequate reference sources, however all but apparent facts have been removed. Input is invited to adjust/correct any factually discrepancies, but new additions or reversions that run against Wikipedia’s proscriptions regarding COI and NPOV will be speedily deleted, and could put the existence of the whole article in jeopardy.

New section for list of musicians who have played with the band.[edit]

The list in the infobox had become long and intrusive, and due to the 18 names noted, was best added under another section. This new article section is for performers and musicians, past and present, in neutral alphabetical order. The list may not be fully inclusive; other musicians could be added, with instruments played. Discuss additions and edits on this page. Additions from non-named/unregistered/unidentifiable editors under the cloak of only IP addresses are more likely to be challenged. If additions are not substantiated, they could be treated as at best self-serving: see Wikipedia:Neutral Point of View.

The alphabetical order of involved musicians gives no opportunity for favouritism, self-aggrandisement, and conflict of interest. See Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest.

Identity of "Brett Marvin"[edit]

I understand that "Brett Marvin" is the name given to a mannequin or other lay figure which appeared on stage with the band, rather than being the nme of the bands frontman as implied. It's a very long time since I saw them play and I can't now remember, but if anyone knows, it's as relevant as most of the rest of the article Chrismorey (talk) 02:05, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Major cleanup 31 October 2020‎[edit]

I have flushed the article of all unsourced text and original research, tagged for reliable independent sources for at least four years. I have left only text that reflects the viable sources offered. To avoid text removal, any further text added to the article will need to provide reliable sources, these will not include the band's promotional web sites, personal web sites and blogs, social media sites, or any mirror sites that may have old versions of this article.
