notability

[edit]
There are lots of references from her facebook page and blogs, but not much that appears to be significant coverage by publications unrelated to the subject (press releases do not count). VQuakr (talk) 20:24, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

    • I forgot to sign this with the four wiggles before, so I added the signature above in this edit. The (wokn) edits are also missing signatures, but messing with someone elses edits is against the rules so I wont do that. (Im at my husbands friends office but its me again.)
    • And looking at the Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines rules, I see I should have broken this up into a lot of small sections, so Im doing that now. — 17:50, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Martinez interview

[edit]

User:Dr8note also removed the references to her marital status, because the Angelina Martinez interview[1] didnt mention those facts. I looked at the citation and it doesnt say anything about those details, except that she mentions "Moms in the Mix", and sounds like shes there because shes supporting another mom.

In the change comment, User:Dr8note wrote this:

this is from the interview live with Martinez/no mention of this in interview

Does that mean there's another interview that does confirm those details? If so, we should get a link to the other interview. I searched a little but I didnt find it.

(wokn). There is no other interview, this interview was at her cd listening party.
It's obvious the link that martinez used was to promote her and 'Momz in the mix' not Brettina.
  • Im sure I saw that other interview somewhere, but I cant find it online anymore. Maybe it got deleted. I think it was linked from her official site, I cant think how else I would have seen it. It doesnt have a links page anymore though. Probably right about Martinez promoting herself.
  • Why not just mark it with a tag saying it needs a citation? Then people know to look for a good citation without coming over to this page to find that it needs a source. — 205.175.116.129 (talk) 17:50, 4 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

single

[edit]

She has several citations saying her own mother was a single mother, even in one of her songs, saying shes a single mother should be OK. But that needs a citation too.

None of this stuff is contentious by the WP:BLP rules, so we should be trying to find proper citations, rather than just deleting things, right?

Does anyone know how to get into contact with Brettina other than talking to her at a show? The simplest way to confirm these sorts of things would be to suggest that she mention them on her Facebook or something like that, if anyone reading this knows how to contact her.

(wokn).I'm assuming if she wanted to talk about her 'more private' life then she would have.
She seems pretty open of her upbringing and childhood.

help!

[edit]

Somehow I broke all the links with my last edit. Can someone revert but leave the reference fix in place?

"Fihgting for her dream" is here: http://web.archive.org/web/20100328194301/http://www.thenassauguardian.com/pulse/301583921235432.php

I think this one might be a good archive for "Bretinna's heart and Soul" too: http://web.archive.org/web/20110717021620/http://www.thenassauguardian.com/pulse/297164711040208.php

Also there are a lot of broken edits that I was going to try to fix, but I cant do that until i figure out what happened with my last edit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.174.52.50 (talk) 04:58, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
