COI Disclosure

[edit]

In the interest of disclosure I want it to be known to the Wikipedia community and the public at large that I am a staff member of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation at Queensland University of Technology. The research centre and university jointly host Creative Commons Australia. My employment at QUT is directly related to that project.

As such I would like to draw the community's attention to the following recommended changes that should be made to the page for Professor Brian Fitzgerald:

  • Update to projects Prof Fitzgerald leads: Add that he is Project Lead of Peer to Patent Australia and reflect that the Open Access to Knowledge Law Project and the Legal Framework for e-Research Project are both complete.
  • Reorganisation of listed projects to reflect current active projects.
  • Inclusion that Prof Fitzgerald was a member of the Gov2Taskforce

I would also like to draw the community's attention to the following minor changes I have made:

They seem like non-controversial changes you're suggesting, Elliott. I think you should be comfortable making those types of updates as they're really not likely to be controversial. By the way, you can sign your discussion page comments by typing four tildes (~~~~). Cheers, Sarah 07:27, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
