[edit]

So i stumbled across this article yesterday on the last day of an Articles for Deletion review, saw the subject was notable and added some cites. The AfD closed as no consensus, so it was kept. The article as i saw it then had been created on October 12, 2009. Apparently, the article had previously existed and been deleted (1st creation was March 30, 2007). It was proposed for deletion on October 2, 2009, and no one responded to that within 7 days, so it apparently got deleted (note the version of the article as of October 2, 2009 had no cites and it takes digging to find the non-trivial sources surrounding this subject because as a spokesperson he's been cited 1000s of times). The prior revision history is now restored so you can see all versions since the beginning. The article has been frequently edited since the AfD was closed yesterday, including by an insistent IP editor who apparently wants it deleted (and was blocked as a result of an editwar). The cause of all this appears to be some negative coverage of this guy out there. Therefore, as always, proper sourcing will be needed for the claims in the article. While I think the guy is notable, i have no idea why people are warring over him. --Milowent (talk) 14:33, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
