Independent sources required[edit]

Several of the sections of this article are sourced to press releases, to posts by the Krassenstein brothers themselves, or to sources like Hill Reporter and Independent Reporter that are (or have been) owned by the Krassensteins. Self-published sources are valid for information about their own authors, but we also need independent third-party sources to assert that the information is notable and verifiable. Which press releases are you referring to? The 3dprint news? Thenewsoftoday (talk) 19:50, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've tagged the press releases and self-published sources as such in the <ref> tags. White 720 (talk) 20:26, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Religion[edit]

On occasion, people have been adding statements to the biography section that Brian and Ed are Jewish (usually incorrectly written as "jewish"). Like all biographical info about living persons, this needs to be sourced to a reliable or self-published source. Ed's self-published autobiography states, "I was raised in a family that was half Republican and half Democrat, as well as half Christian and half Jewish, so you could say I was not indoctrinated into any specific religion or political affiliation." Brian's self-published bio on IMDb makes no reference to any religious affiliation. I couldn't find any reliable or self-published sources making any assertion about either brother's current or past religious affiliation. If any other editor finds such a source, feel free to add it to the bio section. (Secondary sources are particularly needed for that section, in any case.) It has been confirmed that Krassenstein twins are not Jewish, only his last name is Jewish. His paternal grandfather was Jewish, his mother isn't Jewish. Few Jewish communities have protested this issue since they don't want to be associated with the brothers and don't want them to use Judaism or their ethnicity as a shield. 185.70.53.47 (talk) 12:26, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
