Proposed merging of "British Columbia School for the Deaf, Elementary" with this article.[edit]

After doing some research, it's clear that both of these schools are the same but with 2 locations. The BC School for the Deaf is located on the Burnaby South Secondary School campus and the BC School for the Deaf, Elementary is located on the South Slope Elementary School campus. Would it be a good idea to delete the British Columbia School for the Deaf, Elementary article and merging the contents with British Columbia School for the Deaf? The main article could explain the difference between both locations, and also that the Vice principal (Myrna Ziola) for BC School of the Deaf is the Principal for BC School of the Deaf, Elementary. What do people think? Russell Dent (talk) 14:44, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have sufficient insights as to the general treatments of schools articles being duplicated due to being administratively separated by grade classes. Perhaps we should take it to the WP:AfD and let the Wiki community deal with it? --Egberts (talk) 17:07, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I spoke to someone in the help channel on irc and they suggested that these pages could be merged. So I've added the merge templates to both articles. We can give it about 2 weeks to allow for any discussion, then someone (or myself) can do the merge. I realise that this article isn't of high importance as some others might be but I believe it would still be a good idea to let people discuss it first.
