WWE Intercontinental Championship Look-A-Like

[edit]

Is is just me or does the picture of Doug Williams wearing the FWA British Heavyweight Championship look like the WWE Intercontinental Championship? Mr. C.C. 05:54, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's a pretty generic title belt design and has been used for numerous championships over the years, including the ECW Tag Title belts among others I believe. Tony2Times (talk) 16:19, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changing of date display

[edit]

I'm not favoring anyone here, in fact I'm correcting a favoritism. When a date is displayed like "29/01/04" that's a) the only way it will ever show up and b) confusing to someone who doesn't know how to properly read it (if it's something like "07/01/04" it's even worse). By making such a date into January 29 2004 and wikilinking it, it allows for it to be shown according to user preferences, so it can be "January 29, 2004," "29 January, 2004," or even "29/01/04" (I think), according to user-defined preferences. IP's will see it only as "January 29, 2004" and if someone therefore wishes to change the wikilinks from [[January 29]] style to [[29 January]] style, that's fine (I won't even notice, actually), considering that the subject of the article is British and Britain uses the latter style. Just make sure they remain wikilinked and in the same general layout. Tromboneguy0186 12:05, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article name change

[edit]

Considering in all articles the company refers to this simply as the British Heavyweight Championship now, should the article name not be changed to British Heavyweight Championship (XWA)? Tony2Times (talk) 22:30, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
