Merge proposal

[edit]

This organisation (British Lung Foundation) has merged with Asthma UK, to form Asthma + Lung UK. Each of the two organisations has its own article. I created a new Asthma + Lung UK article (draft here) but have been told this should be done as part of a merger.

The organisation is notable IMO because its research is regularly covered in the news and is regularly used to inform parliamentary debates. The three most reliable sources I used for the draft article are: BBC News, the UK Parliament website, and the Scottish Parliament website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KTnow (talkcontribs) 13:26, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support: both pages are short enough that combining them won't cause significant harm. I suggest that this could best be done my a move of the page Asthma UK to the new title, followed by a merge of the 'Lung' page. The draft could be used to do this. Asthma UK was the larger, older and more notable of the preceding institutions. Klbrain (talk) 11:17, 19 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your feedback. I've now closed the discussion. And I'm working through how to merge the pages. KTnow (talk) 11:18, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
