RAF Speke/Liverpool

[edit]

The Liverpool_John_Lennon_Airport#History article says there was one there, but it's not in the table here. Huw Powell (talk) 01:14, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

RAF Speke/Liverpool is seen in the list now Loudumo (talk) 18:58, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of Focus

[edit]

Some of tbe entries listed in the table of Shadow Factories, notably Axminster, appear to be simply wartime production by non-defence related companies, rather than actual parts of the Shadow Factory scheme, which dealt specifically with the aircraft and motor industries. It is unclear whether the armaments related factories listed, such as BMARC fall within the scheme or not.

Disambiguation Page needed

[edit]

Searching for 'Shadow Factory' will currently take you to The_Shadow_Factory, a page on a book about the NSA. A disambiguation page is needed, but I've no idea how to set one up. 92.238.224.101 (talk) 08:20, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have put a hatnote here to help readers to find their way. Eddaido (talk) 08:50, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What about a British shadow factory in Canada?

[edit]

I've linked to this article and added its associated category at Victory Aircraft, a former plant in Canada. According to that article, it was indeed a shadow factory for the construction of British WWII aircraft. Yet it's not physically in Great Britain, of course. Was I mistaken to have added it?
