Height

The height is 8,047m in this article but it does not agree with the 8,051 in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest_mountains article. Is there a debate on the correct height? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Troll King (talkcontribs) 11:25, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

The name K3

The first section of this articles states; "Broad Peak (originally named K3)", which I believe to be incorrect. The name K3 refers to the mountain we know as Gasherbrum IV [as per Kenneth Mason, "Abode of Snow", p. 346 in the 1987 edition]. Before I start editing this out - and will compile a list of K-numbers - I request some kind soul cross-check this. Qwrk (talk) 12:50, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Pakistan ranking

I am planning on removing the Pakistan elevation ranking from the infobox per reasons given at Talk:K2#Pakistan rankings. Reply at the K2 talk page or here if there's an objection. --RacerX11 Talk to meStalk me 00:47, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
