Second longest navigable?

[edit]

It says, on the Main Page no less, that this is the second longest navigable canal tunnel in the UK. However, if I read the respective WP articles right then Dudley Tunnel and Standedge Tunnel are both longer and both navigable. Moreover, Standedge Tunnel was not navigable 20 years ago when the book cited on this page as a reference was published. So it seems that this information is out of date: just goes to show what happens when we rely on print references. —Blotwell 03:01, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think its possibly the 18th longest navigable British canal tunnel. Malcolma 08:14, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Forgot to add the reference and I now think its the 19th. http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/jim.shead/Tunnels.html Malcolma 08:18, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
