Bryant Park Project is now on air

The entry still says that BPP is being piloted. It actually launched Oct 1 on six public radio stations and the Sirius satellite network. News coverage about the launch can be found in these stories from the New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. I would make the edit myself but I work for NPR and have been involved in the show launch, and don't think it would be appropriate. Acarvin 13:30, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Just so long as you keep it POV, then go right ahead. This article could use a little expansion. I just discovered it via podcast, and I think it's a pretty good show. I thought the idea of a news-oriented morning show geared toward a younger audience was a terrific idea, and I quite like BPP. Like I said, as long as this article doesn't get out of hand with long trivia sections, advertising and whatnot, feel free to add more information, like in the Morning Edition article.--Fightingirish 07:34, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Streamlined and expanded content

I just made the following edits to the article:

• Added NPR correspondent Robert Smith's name to pool of possible replacements for Luke Burbank and removed the "front-runner" terminology from the page.
• Removed "The Beep" nickname, given the expression is not commonly used on the show.
• Rearranged and expanded the show description, adding artist interview tidbit.
• Trimmed and streamlined overall article style, and added newsmagazine terminology to page.
• Corrected Matt Martinez's official title.
• Added list of radio stations carrying the show.
• Removed the article's status as a stub.

The radio station lists came from Google searches and the 11/5/07 episode of the show. If anyone wants to provide citation for all of this feel free. :-) Coath6 (talk) 17:59, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
