Tragedy[edit]

This year BUHS underwent a horrible tragedy. On March 15, 2008 four girls from Buckhannon were killed in a car accident. Hannah Browning, Lynzie Rose, Anna Wamsley, and Shasta Andrick. Hannah and Shasta were both Seniors, Anna a Junior and Lynzie a 2007 graduate. Just when we thought it couldnt be any worse less than week later another 2007 graduate Jeremy Thomas was killed in an automobile accident. All of Buckhannon was at a great loss. Then exactly one month later another senior drowned in Stone Wall Jackson Lake. JW Exline was out with some friends when the boat flipped and he drowned. Buckhannon has had many losses this year and each one of them will always be in our hearts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 168.216.135.55 (talk) 15:41, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
