Untitled[edit]

This article is terrible, but what first stood out to me was that all horses are referred to as "he". Female horses don't buck?

Thank you for your suggestion. When you believe an article needs improvement, please feel free to make those changes. Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone can edit almost any article by simply following the edit this page link at the top.

Improvements to the article[edit]

The lead was reworded and new information was added, along with citations. The first paragraph about reasons for bucking was reworded and new, relevant information along with citations were added. New information and rewording was induced in the Solutions paragraph. Citations were also added to this paragraph. The last paragraph on consequences was removed due to a lack of support from other sources. It was also slightly opinion based and I was not able to find literature to support it.

Thank you for your efforts. I had to do some reworking; the course material added was quite helpful, and thank you. That said, it’s better to just add citations rather than risk copyvio problems by close paraphrasing of sources. Also, the article uses US English, there were some grammatical fixes needed, and remember to put periods BEFORE citations, not after. The unsourced content can be cited later and has been restored. There’s a lot of oral knowledge in the horse world, a written source will eventually be found if this article were to be polished for GA. Montanabw^(talk) 22:32, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
