North Korea or China?[edit]

I read Mahurin's autobiography Honest John a few years back and I distinctly remember him mentioning that he was caught on the "wrong side" of the Yalu River over China when he was shot down, and was imprisoned by the Chinese rather than the North Koreans. As a result, he was not released until 1955 nearly 2 years after the end of the Korean War. 209.158.189.60 15:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This source[1] that I used when creating this article says (in the 8th main paragraph) that he was captured by North Koreans. However, later on (in the 10th main paragraph) it mentions his contact with a Chinese officer.
In this interview with Mahurin, [2], he talks about first being interrogated by North Koreans and THEN Chinese. It seems to me that he was captured by the North Koreans. Do you still have that book? Thoughts? --NatureBoyMD 18:46, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
