Fair use rationale for Image:Seven Dials Mystery - Agatha Christie II.JPG[edit]

Image:Seven Dials Mystery - Agatha Christie II.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Note 15 is wrong. Rt. Hon means he is a member of the Privy Council, an honour given to Cabinet and some other senior politicians.. The children of all peers are titled The Honourable.

2014 review[edit]

Hello, whoever is watching this topic

I just finished reviewing this article and two things in it surprised me.

  • First is its violation of Wikipedia policies, especially its extensive use of original research including misrepresentation of statement from its primary source and synthesis of the source to advance positions not supported by it and total guesswork. (For an example of each, the article establishes claims about what she usually wears, her future name and the model of her car while The Seven Dials Mystery only mentions what she wore at one point in time, the manufacturer of her and that someone had a crush on her.) All of these are forbidden in Wikipedia. Other problems outside OR area include use of image in violation of WP:NFCC, not adhering to Wikipedia citation style and Manual of Style for layout, and not catering to international audience.
  • Second is its mature language and writing style, which captured my attention because the article is chiefly the work of User:IXIA. So, if it is not a reproduction of an already published article in a magazine (copyright violation), I'd say if it is sent to a magazine, it will probably be published.

If this article is to be brought to Wikipedia standards and "fixed", there is quite a bit of verification burden. And quite a bit of getting to know Wikipedia policies for User:IXIA.
