Question

[edit]

NOTE: THE QUESTION HAS BEEN CHANGED BY THE OP OF THREAD ALSO KNOWN AS 180.72.209.178!!

Is anyone allowed to add a list of episodes as a separate article including the 2002 pilot episode Pinpin le Lapin in the episode list I mentioned as well? --180.72.57.143 (talk) 08:59, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As long as you can provide a reliable source for the episode listings? Go ahead. Zucat (talk) 21:29, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

OP of thread: Okay. --180.72.171.118 (talk) 03:56, 25 November 2016 (UTC) (edited by --180.72.209.178 (talk) 12:14, 26 November 2016 (UTC), sorry for double links)[reply]

Oh god, that was me. Now I know that the series is practically lost media. There's a partially reserved English dub on online cartoon series, but other than that, it is not on any streaming service, so chances are searching is required. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 05:03, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Studio Tanuki

[edit]

Could you create an article about Studio Tanuki, I just wanna learn more about the studio. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:E000:2500:F000:4C2E:A6E9:3BC2:7D4A (talk) 06:51, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Studio Tanuki is not notable. I appreciate your interest, but this is a very obscure group with a website that is currently bare, because the page for its language selection does not work anymore. Furthermore, their other works are also not considered as notable, with Bunny Maloney being the only one notable to come out of their Flash animation. It would also be a struggle to try and describe their other works when some of them weren't properly archived, making them lost media. --WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 11:50, 29 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Pitch bible addition

[edit]

I never considered this thought: I presume the removed revisions were from official copyrighted material, but I wonder if a pitch bible from the studio itself (archived) is okay? It seems the PowerPoint presentation appeared to function as such, considering they also mention stuff like emotes and manga, which never came to be. Feel free to remove this and previous revisions, if it counts as infringement. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 15:05, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Justlettersandnumbers Sorry for tagging, needed to ask regarding official powerpoint presentations. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 15:05, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
WannurSyafiqah74, I'm not entirely clear what's being asked here. The content that was removed in 2015 was copied from non-free sources including this and this; I don't see that any of that has been restored to the page. As for the powerpoint thing, my understanding is that it could be used as a reference (though it is not an independent source) if it was published by the studio (was it?); if it was merely leaked or stolen then we should not use it, nor should we link to it if it is hosted on some random website. Of course no text should be copied from it in any case. Does this answer your question? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:04, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Justlettersandnumbers Yes! Thank you for explaining, I mean it in revisions like this. It was published on MoonScoop's website (and on their official page for Bunny Maloney), but the functioning webpage was archived in 2013. That's all I ever asked for, thank you. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 13:03, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, I also won't ever notify you about little things like this again. Just wondered if it was fine. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 14:20, 9 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Little note regarding characters, I guess.

[edit]

I found out Noacak/The General might've been literally just "Major Monogram if he was a war general" on TVTropes. I also found out "Marc and Ting" was some sneaky pun on "marketing". I used to edit on TVTropes and even make a page on the show, so that's why.

P.S. the Major Monogram comparison is funnier because Debilouman is a fusion of Dr. Cortex and Dr. Doofenshmirtz. No Carl though... and dare I say, where's Perry? WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 13:34, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Minor notes (3/7/2023)

[edit]

I removed the "Humor" section and added it to the "Production" section, since 1. the "Humor" section was too specific for a Wikipedia article and 2. I didn't know how it'd fit other than there. I do remember in earlier versions of the article, that someone stated that the show has raunchy humor like Animaniacs... though I'd argue it's way more explicit.

Also, looking at the contributions, citing a random Twitter user for the show's resurgence in popularity doesn't really mean it's reliable. It just happens sometimes. I mean, I've heard of what happened with Fanboy and Chum Chum, and that was an easy target for people years ago. It's a series I don't mind, though. The Garfield Show on the other hand... what the hell is going on in that series?

Those are my thoughts. If you wanna remove my edit about the show's humor, then yeah, I can't blame you. I tried. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 15:20, 3 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Blud that’s why bunny maloney got noticed in the first place Goodboy5553 (talk) 20:34, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Late reply, but considering you added it, I removed it because I assume that you can't really get too specific for a Wikipedia article. But hey, that's just my opinion, man. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 15:30, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Is this an adult show

[edit]

Honestly, there’s no way that could’ve been a kids show. It was pulled off before the actual first premier. Lol Goodboy5553 (talk) 23:21, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Really don't wanna barge in, but I don't think it is meant to be an adult show? Don't get me wrong, the humor is very much adult (even for a MoonScoop production)
But it also aired on the network Kabillion, the same network to have aired popular Western shows and anime aimed at kids (I remember Sonic X was one of their acquired shows), and it's not a Cartoon Network-to-Adult Swim situation.
Basically, not in the same sense as something like Family Guy (or whatever), for an example. I really hope this made sense...? WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 15:41, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It was more of like a “don’t swear” type of adult show. That’s how it aired on kabillion Goodboy5553 (talk) 00:52, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Eh, I've moved on anyways. That's all I'll say, I just politely disagree with you is all. WannurSyafiqah74 (talk) 16:57, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
