Assessment comments and suggestions[edit]

This article has a couple of lovely illustrations. It would benefit from a schematic of the castle layout, and a map showing where Burghausen is. These are minor. The more major problems are lack of citations, content, and clarification. What are the parts of the castle? What where there uses? Why did the Wittelsbachs get the castle? Your statement is unclear: did they acquire the castle site when they acquired Bavaria? The site was occupied since the Bronze age: how do we know this? What was it used for? How high is this hill? Why is the castle here? and not somewhere else? --Auntieruth55 (talk) 01:27, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

another castle shot, at night[edit]

I found this shot of the castle on the article about travertine, and it was linked nowhere else (in English). I don't know if yet another photo is appropriate for the main page, so I am leaving it here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Castle_blue_hour.jpg 24.77.16.7 (talk) 05:01, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
