Technical details

[edit]

(Cites not found yet); appears to have been service RB 6 (service number RB 59458) scheduled to depart G-P 12:07 (platform 3), stopping at Farchant 12:10/12:11 and timetabled to arrive into Munich at 13:26. Appears to have been three carriages of Bombardier Double-deck Coach rolling-stock, propeller (pushed) from the back of the train by an electric locomotive (which appears to have remained upright). —Sladen (talk) 13:52, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Appears to be five(?) carriages + locomotive with the first + last carriages + rear locomotive staying upright, and the middle three carriages toppled on their side. —Sladen (talk) 14:19, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Tracked down an image on Flickr [1] of the same locomotive (111 035-2) and same arrangement of five double-deck carriages. Have contact the author about the license—they've previously helped out Wikipedia with images before, so I'm hopeful! —Sladen (talk) 00:34, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Video footage

[edit]

Mobile phone video footage taken from the track, after passengers had climbed up on to the track: {{refbegin}

  • Tim Knopf. (Quelle des Videos unbekannt) [Today in Burgrain/Garmisch-Partenkirchen a train was derailed. Several carriages were tipped over (three, if I count correctly). About the number and type of casualties there is conflicting information. (Source of the video is unknown] – via Twitter.

Type of train

[edit]

This is possibly a black-and-white security-camera picture of the train type (or even the specific train?) earlier on:

de:WP importation

[edit]

I have translated more information about the investigation from de:WP, but I seem to have mangled the reference templates. Can somebody with more insight into those patch them up? Thanks. Kelisi (talk) 21:58, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
