I believe that the correct name of this QEW bridge is the "Burlington Bay James N. Allan Skyway"

You are correct. Snickerdo 03:57, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
certainly not! burlington bay is not part of the name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beanmedic (talkcontribs) 14:17, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thursdays crash

[edit]

Please stop adding the crash from Thursday to the article. Vehicles have crashed into the bridge numerous times in my life alone, not to mention the 30 years before then. Until an engineering report comes back with news of actual structural damage, this is WP:NOTNEWS. From the appearance on cameras and in pictures, the truck smashed the lower two stabilizing beams, which are easily replaced and have no long-term effect on the soundness of the structure. If there is structural damage, and the crossing remains closed beyond a weekend, it's a different story. - Floydian τ ¢ 16:52, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
