Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Burpee Seeds. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Proposed changes to infobox

[edit]

Hi – I’d like to recommend a few minor changes to the infobox. Presently, the infobox describes the subject as a subsidiary of Ball Horticultural Company. This is unsourced and is also not correct. I’ve proposed a revised version of the infobox in my sandbox for consideration which removes these claims. It also adds two individuals to the “Key people” parameter, both of which are already sourced in the article. I have a declared COI with the subject of this article (please see my user page) so am presenting this as a recommended edit and will not edit the article directly myself. Thanks for your consideration. —Preceding undated comment added 15:20, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

Thanks, DocumentError! I had one other minor request – the official name of the company is W. Atlee Burpee & Co., though, this article uses “Burpee Seeds.” However, per WP:COMMONNAME I believe “Burpee Seeds and Plants” is more appropriate for the namespace. This is the title term (“Burpee Seeds and Plants”) in the leading Google search result for “Burpee Seeds.” Further, a Google search shows that “Burpee Seeds and Plants” returns 66,700 results which, when combined with “Burpee Seeds” and “Burpee Plants” is more than the standalone name “Burpee Seeds.” Would you consider renaming this article to “Burpee Seeds and Plants” and also creating redirects for “Burpee Plants,” “Burpee Seeds,” and “Burpee Seeds and Plants?” FlowerFan123 (talk) 12:57, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
