Coordinate error[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Bursledon Brickworks Museum: You will find that the co-ordinates displayed at the top of my article show up as (50.887428°N 1.290277°W), this will take you to Eastlands Boatyard which is located 0.3 miles north of Bursledon Brickworks and is approximately a 6 minute drive. The co-ordinates (50°53′09″N 1°17′27″W / 50.885747°N 1.290772°W / 50.885747; -1.290772) will in fact take you to Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum, although according to Google Maps' GPS coordinates, 50°53′09″N 1°17′27″W / 50.885809°N 1.290781°W / 50.885809; -1.290781 will land you right on the placemark for Bursledon Brickworks. Here are the correct co-ordinates again according to GPS coordinates (50.885809°N 1.290781°W), these co-ordinates under the "Coordinates" section of my article --Kő Cloch (talk) 12:35, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. I've used the correct coordinates (rounded to avoid overprecision) in the infobox and deleted the redundant {{coord}} tag at the bottom of the article. Deor (talk) 17:18, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Official links[edit]

@Kő Cloch: Per WP:ELMINOFFICIAL, it is considered acceptable to add external links to official websites; however, we try to keep these links to a minimum as much as possible. The business or organization is identified by what is written in the article and the various sources cited throughout the article, not by providing links to every website the subject of an article owns/controls as you've done here. Links to the museum's Twitter and Pinterest are found on its official website, so there's no reason to add them to the article. If you feel there's a policy/guideline based reason that these links need to be re-added, then please discuss that here. You can also ask for feedback at WP:ELN if you like. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:01, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
