Homophobic degenerate

[edit]

Bushido is a homophobic degenerate. His lyrics include anti-gay slurs. This should be mentioned in the article. People should know what kind of a man he is.66.65.129.159 (talk) 05:46, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just give us a source,a credible source.

Sources!?! No problem:

Is this enough? --- 134.159.154.66 (talk) 00:13, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

These sources are OK. It is a well known fact and the de article is describing his homophobic trash texts as well. It's obviously part of the very core of his artistic identity.--Nemissimo (talk) 23:13, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nonsense

[edit]

All genres of music has always been an expressive outlet for people across ethnic lines; primarily the unprivileged in the United States. However, in the beginning German hip hop fans gravitated toward this "foreign" form of expression and related towards their oppression as citizens of a communist dictatorship.

There was hardly ANY hiphop or rap in the former socialist DRG, at least compared to western Germany. And that was definitely not a "communist dictatorship" - in the early nineties rap in Germany was usually either politically slated to the left or not political at all. 88.74.28.214 (talk) 14:33, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Tim[reply]

I removed the line because it is total nonsense. I also removed a line in this discussion because it was just some bushido-hater (which is not bad, but should be posted here). 78.52.30.37 (talk) 21:58, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I might add, the english in this article is a disgrace to wiki. I am not gonna devote my precious time to polish Bushidos wiki article - but this has to be changed before any discussion about its contents is due.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.203.198.191 (talk) 23:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Best seller rapper in Europe

[edit]

I suppressed this cause if he has sold 2 millions, he has sold well, ok, but MC Solaar from France has sold more than 5 millions album, and if you include bands, bands like IAM, Supreme NTM, have each sold more than 3 millions albums. French Rapper Passi has sol more than 2 millions album. L'Ecole du Micro d'Argent from IAM sold at least 1 200 000 copies alone.

Check sources like http://www.infodisc.fr/ and others about french rap if you don't believe.

Berlins Most Wanted reunion

[edit]

It isn't really a reunion because the only rapper from the original BMW group is Bushido... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ich901 (talkcontribs) 16:31, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

is it possible to copy the logo from the German article in to this one? I don't know how to do it and if it is allowed.

2008-2009 section

[edit]

Some of the dates are unclear; also, in the final sentence, it is unclear whether "the video" refers to a music video of the single, or the aforementioned movie (Zeiten ändern dich), and the given reference links to a webpage that no longer exists (or else has a gateway through a porn site). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:4CA0:200:3:200:5EFE:8D54:4514 (talk) 09:55, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nationalism and racism?

[edit]

In the article it says Bushido is frequently being criticized in media for being nationalistic and racist. I, as a German who is into this kind of music for at least 10 years, encounter this criticism for the first time. Never have I heard him say anything racist or nationalistic and I have watched many many hours of interviews. Please provide a source which clearly suggests he is racist. The quote from a rap line where he calls himself a leader "like A", even if "A" stood for Hitler, is not nearly enough. He might very well compare himself to a dictator but not share any of the propositions in question such as racism i.e. "some ethnicities are genetically superior to others". Again, I highly doubt he holds that belief and I have, even though my longstanding interest in his person, never ever witnessed him saying anything racist. He definately has had misogynistic lyrics and uses deragoratory slangs for homosexuals but a racist? I think that goes way too far and the text doesn't provide any sources for that claim other than a single lyric that doesn't necessarily lead to that conclusion. --.=talk=.
