Stage musical[edit]

I suspect the content on a musical version at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney is completely fictional. Not referenced, the The Lion King was playing at the theatre at that time (see https://www.ausstage.edu.au/pages/event/109568), and it lists a bunch of high profile performers who wouldn't be expected to all be in the same cast. Busytown - Father Cat[edit]

+I have just seen an ep of Richard Scarry's, where Father Cat doesn not own a grocery store, as stated in the Wikipedia article, but runs a travel office (in the episode he helps his son, the Cat, to make a geography project for school using various items from his travel office (tralel pictures, folders etc). Did it change? Isyutaru (talk) 10:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Goldbug?[edit]

I no longer have my books but I remember a recurring character of Goldbug (at least that's what I called him) that was usually hidden somewhere on the page. I don't know anything about this character but think he deserves an entry on here

Yeah, Goldbug is the character I remember best, 'because I'd always search for him when I was little. --68.96.79.79 (talk) 04:18, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Busytown Mysteries[edit]

I was watching CBS at 7am on 11/28/09 and reconized the characters, i guess this is a new show. Let's start a section.97.117.133.209 (talk) 14:16, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing characters[edit]

I think we should also list the detective characters (Couscous (I am not referring to the rice) etc.) because they have been frequent throughout the series. trainfan01 —Preceding undated comment added 04:02, 4 May 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Actually maybe not as that has only been in the TV series and not in the books. trainfan01 talk 19:27, April 27, 2011 (UTC)

four firefighting pigs [NOT three][edit]

Smokey, Sparky, Squirty and Snozzle: a four of pig firefighters. Sparky wears a saucepan as his headgear, Snozzle wears a colander as his headgear, Squirty wears a tin hat with a gold cross on the front and a bow on the back as his headgear, Smokey wears a wears a tin hat with a round gold badge on the front and a brush on the top as his headgear, and one of them uses a trombone for a siren. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.25.216 (talk) 17:24, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion[edit]

@Piotrus proposed this article for deletion with the following note:

  • "The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline requirement nor the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) supplementary essay. WP:BEFORE did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you. (proposed by Piotrus)"

This article is an overview of a series of books, games and TV shows that are in Richard Scarry's Busy Town (a.k.a. Busytown, a.k.a. Busy World, a.k.a. Busyworld) universe. You can find lots of articles about Richard Scarry that talk about this world as well as articles about individual books, games and shows. I did not find any that were just about "Busy Town". I am removing the deletion note anyway since an umbrella article for all these things. Note that there is also a template associated with this article, Template:Busytown.

If this article is to be deleted, it should be discussed at AfD.
