The Story of Coaticue's Birth of Huitzilopochtli

Coatlicue was in a temple sweeping when a ball of white feathers fell into her bossom. She then was pregnant with Huitzilopochtli. Coatlicue's daughter, Coyolcauhqui was angry about this and convinved her 400 brothers and sisters to slay their mother. When approached, Huitzilopochtli emerged from his mothers womb fully grown and slayed his sister Coyolcauhqui and beheaded her and threw her head into the skys. Coyolcauhqui's head became the moon.
