[edit]What do these files describe? Can "electron density" be reduced to something more accessible like "molecular structure" or something? How/where are these files used? John (Jwy) 00:22, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- tried to clarify, but we need a page on electron density. I'll work on it. Electron density is raw result of structural techniques cryo-electron microscopy and x-ray crystallography. A model or the protein (see protein data bank) is then created by fitting the atoms into the electron density map. --vossman 01:58, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- That is an improvement, thank you! I think I understand what an electronic density would be (unless the name be misleading), but I'm not sure everyone would, so that sounds like a good idea. John (Jwy) 03:26, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
