Stub Category

[edit]

This article about an education organization is a stub.

I'm not sure if it's very accurate to call CHILDES an educational organization. I believe it's mainly a database for scientific purposes.

You are correct. I will remove the stub tag (LMBM2012 (talk) 01:35, 18 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]

I just wanted to note that the first article cited, that claims 3000 articles have cited CHILDES, is a dead link. There is an article by MacWhinney from 2000 that claims a numberer close to 1300, titled "The CHILDES project: tools for analyzing talk". Hope that helps. Removing notability concern

[edit]

I have added some information about the use of CHILDES in research and plan to remove the notability concern if no one objects in one week. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hauserivy (talkcontribs) 19:41, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have added additional citations and references from non-CHILDES sources. I'll remove the verification notice at the top of the article in one week if no one objects. Hauserivy (talk) 19:17, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
