[edit]

First of all, thank you Andykatib for putting so much work into this article and other Covid-19 NZ related articles! I have some suggestions for the lede to reflect that the MIQ system is also used for people with Covid-19 who have not travelled from abroad. My suggestion is to change the beginning of the lede to the following:

Managed isolation (MIQ) is a quarantine system implemented by the New Zealand government during the Covid-19 pandemic. Under the system, people entering New Zealand, Covid-19 positive cases and some of their close contacts are required to isolate at an MIQ facility for 14 days.

Let me know what you think and whether you have any suggestions for improving the writing (which I know has much room for improvement!) Philipp.governale (talk) 06:05, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, best of luck for your PhD defence! Philipp.governale (talk) 07:41, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
