Merge

[edit]

I think the CFFC 5 (and also Cage Fury Fighting Championships 6) should be merged into the main Cage Fury Fighting Championships page. CFFC isn't exactly a big promotion and their events aren't very notable. The little information that is noteworthy could easily be added to the CFFC page without cluttering. What do you guys think? You know in one of the articles was enough. Anyway as I said before while it may not be notable to you is is to real MMA fans that follow the sport and do not care what the promotion is so long as the fights are good. And in that respect CFFC can deliver. They are an up and coming organization and because of that it is not reason enough to toss them aside and ignore them. The fact that they can now do PPV is a sign that the federation is growing in popularity, and with Kimbos involvement it's popularity is only going to grow faster. You can't assume I'm not a "real" MMA fan. I watch MMA all the time, I don't care what organization as long as it is good fights. But in terms of notability and wikipedia I fail to see how either event really needs their own pages. Thesaddestday 06:08, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mercer-vs-kimbo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Mercer-vs-kimbo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
