Should this be renamed Cairn o' Mount? The old form Mounth may account for lack of links Finavon 19:54, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cairn O' Mount redirects here. While I'm here, this is shockingly lacking in sources - there isn't even as much as an external link at the bottom, never mind citations.-h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 03:49, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

I've proposed merging this with Cairnamounth, as they refer (I believe) to the same route. Combining the two pages would result in a stronger article. DWeir (talk) 21:33, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cairn O' MounthCairn o' Mount – This is the spelling used by the Ordnance Survey, the Gazetteer for Scotland, and Aberdeenshire Council. It returns 34,100 results on Google, compared to 1,140 for "Cairn o' Mounth". Note also that the "o" is a preposition and should not be capitalized. SupportNgrams does back up "Mount", if I've done it correctly. DankJae 13:18, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
