I still woud appriciate if my comment form Mar 2013 would be added again, because the need to wear a tie is realy unique to this opera house non other opera house I've been to, equest this wired dress conde:

Dress Code

[edit]

Although most Opera house have no dress , if you plan to visit Cairo Symhomy Orchestra at it's home the Cairo Opera House, please mind tie or bow tie is compulsory for men.

No tie = No entrience

You can borrow a tie at the information desk but only if you have a valid passwort with you and you must leave your passwort as deposit. Money is not accepted as deposit.
