Dates or Prior Dam?[edit]

The article Soil liquefaction mentions the failure of the Calaveras Dam in 1918 (prior to the 1925 date mentioned in this article). Was there a prior dam, or was than an unrelated dam, or does someone have their dates wrong? Kevink707 (talk) 18:30, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The original dam suffered a failure in 1918, and was rebuilt in its current form. That rebuilding effort was completed in 1925. I am having some difficulty finding suitable material to cite online. This may require additional research. Wyvern t (talk) 18:06, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Airplane wreckage removal[edit]

Anonymous IP address added information about the removal of airplane wreckage. Statement was misplaced in the article and not referenced or cited, so I removed it. If anyone has information or can verify, please reinstate the edit and cite accordingly. Wyvern t (talk) 18:25, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
