making a change: 'carboxylic acids' are organic acids. dissolving carbon dioxide in water yields *carbonic acid* (H2CO3) which is one of the natural rain water acids that dissolve limestone. DocKrin (talk) 23:25, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
