Notability[edit]

Wikipedia has articles on numerous other SBC affiliated state conventions, so notability in this case shouldn't be particularly contentious. Further, the CSBC has been mentioned in several independant secondary sources such as Christianity Today, the Associated Baptist Press (not the Baptist Press, BP is affiliated with the SBC, ABP is not), the Los Angeles Times, Noozhawk, and the Daily News. Then please cite those sources. At the moment all but one of the sources are self-references and insufficient to support notability. While you are at it please read WP:ORG, WP:FAQO and WP:RS -- we need significant coverage, not just passing mentions. I have put back the tags - they should not be removed until the issues are satisfactorily dealt with. – ukexpat (talk) 01:39, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
