Enrollment
[edit]What is the actual enrollment for the school? Moonlandingwasahoax (talk) 00:28, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- Moonlandingwasahoax, any figure for enrollment is an estimate. We try to use NCES numbers for all schools. They are determined by an actual count held at every school all across the country on the same day, usually a Thursday in late September or early October. I'll update to the latest numbers (probably 16-17) soon. John from Idegon (talk) 00:50, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
NCES
[edit]Hello all, just a quick question: why does NCES not update to the current year? I have statistics straight from the principal herself but it goes back to the NCES database. Moonlandingwasahoax (talk) 04:28, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
2018 Bond
[edit]John From Idegon, I noticed your note about your edit deleting my info about the 2018 Bond. I assume you thought that the bond wasn’t just for the school because I had included “surrounding areas” in there. I would like to tell you that the bond was only for the school and nothing else. I contest that you said it was “off topic” because it relates 100% to what the school is doing. Moonlandingwasahoax (talk) 02:59, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
- Please don't waste people's time. No one cares about your opinions or mine. Make arguments based in fact, by arguing from reliable secondary sources and arguing to applicable Wikipedia policies and guidelines. The primary policies I applied in removing it were WP:RECENT, WP:WEIGHT, school article guidelines, WP:TOOSOON and others. You do not compile an encyclopedia article by adding one bit at a time. When whatever construction is completed, you can add a sentence about it to the History section you research out, paraphrase the sources and write in the meantime. Meanwhile, without any secondary sources, this is dead in the water. We aren't here to report on the school or the school's district. We report on what others have written. Period. Sorry you are having a problem grasping that. John from Idegon (talk) 03:38, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
