External link to Camel Trail leaflet lists all the constituent section lengths in miles and shows the total trail length in miles (17.3) and kilometres. The trail is in England so I take the convention of miles first.Bleakcomb (talk) 00:34, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Trail ownership history and purchase

[edit]

As I have removed the following claim from the article's Current Trail section

The trail is owned by Cornwall Council, who bought it for £1,[from whom?][when?]

I have been unable to verify what the original claim written in 2016 on the article even refers to; was refering to a purchase by Cornwall Council from CCC and NCDC? is it refering to the purchase of the Padstow--Wadebridge stretch by CCC from British Rail? or something else?

In adition to this issue, I've not yet read any source or non-reliable source so much as mentioning anything like this. Despite that I believe their may be some form of truth in the claim so I'm making note of it here incase someone else is able to elaborate with a verifiable source in the future Bejakyo (talk) 11:35, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
