Content added on 13 September 2014‎ contains contradicting information[edit]

Under the "Attack" section, following line found : Being drove by the son Sabawi Ibrahim al-Tikriti, Saddam Hussein's brother.

Article lacking quality and sanity[edit]

How was he driving two busses? Do we have any evidence that Saddam Hussein's half brother was driving both, or even one of the busses? Or is this just a story?

They told the cadets that they were from the arab tribes of Tikrit, and told them to follow them until they find buses to get them to Baghdad.[5] Instead, several buses with ISIS members in it kidnapped them

1,500+ people got on 'several busses?' How big are these bloody busses? Octuple deckers or something? There's 11,000 cadets missing. They were told to 'take a holiday' and weren't fleeing. Then a candy van pulls up with Osama driving it and says "Yo, stay here, we'll get you busses!" and more candy vans pull up and these cadets just hop aboard? Are 'cadets' children like they are in the rest of the world or adults? I could understand children being naive enough to march to their own death, but 1,500 people scattering like rabbits would have led to maybe 20-30 deaths instead of 1,500 deaths. This just doesn't make any sense and doesn't reflect much of the first hand testimony from the massacre's escapees. This article is REALLY lacking in quality and common sense, c'mon guys. Let's fix this. This isn't my forte, so I'll leave it for a couple of weeks and hope someone else can try and make this a little less daft, but worse comes to worse I'll just give it a re-write and existing editors can just yell and throw things at me where I stray? Two of the three talk sections are about this same source. Among the points made in 2014 and 2015, the source claims that the massacre was not done by ISIS, that it was led by Sabawi Ibrahim al-Tikriti, who died in 2013, does not name Ayman, among other fringe claims, all coming from a Mishaan al-Jubouri. Since the source publication is questionable, the source's content is conspirational, there's been no fix in 7 years, and I can't find anything to support al-Jabouri's claims in the article, I will follow up on your plan. I'm going to edit that grammar on this page. All of the grammar will be in American Style, because of the grounds of the topic. The US led the intervention against ISIS, so it should be American. UNSC Luke 1021 (talk) 12:06, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ethnic cleansing?[edit]

Are we sure this is a motive? And not just, Sectarianism? Shias in Iraq are sometimes Persian, but I haven’t seen anybody being forgiven because they were Shia and Arab. 2001:1970:5163:1200:0:0:0:92DC (talk) 13:59, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Second deadliest[edit]

I'm unsure of how accurate the claim that it's the "second deadliest terrorist attack in human history" is. The lead for this article states that the figure is uncertain and could be as low as 1,095, which would put it slightly behind the Mai Kadra massacre; the death toll for that attack is also unclear, but current estimates put it at 1,100, in which case it might exceed the Camp Speicher massacre if we go by the figure of 1,095. Poor information and no context[edit]

The What and how part of this information is completely missing. what happened and how was it done. this article only tells vague after the fact information, while not at all discussing exactly what happened and how. was it bombed? stormed? attacked? how, when day, night etc. Jcqpoier (talk) 05:45, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
