Clan Campbell of Strachur → Campbell of Strachur — Campbell of Strachur is not a recognissed clan, but the branch of Clan Campbell, and should be listed without the destinction of beeing a Scottish clan in its own right. Article was moved from Campbells (of Strachur) by User:QuintusPetillius, 20 July 2008, for reason given: "As per frmat of other branches of the clans". I do not consider this reason to now be true, consensus was reached to drop the term clan on clan branch articles, dated May 2009, see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Clans of Scotland#Naming of branch articles. User:QuintusPetillius was involved in this dicussion. I have posted a copy of these reasons at User talk:QuintusPetillius. Please also note that Campbell of Strachur originaly held the article, and the move may have been a copy/paste (see old revision of Campbell of Strachur dated 25 January 2007) to Campbells (of Strachur) befor arriving here. - Czar Brodie (talk) 13:04, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
