name of article

[edit]

The article name is currently "Canaan Union Depot", however there are no sources in the article which support use of that name. And it is not in Canaan, it is in North Canaan. Should this be moved to the NRHP name for the place, Union Depot, plus disambiguating (Town, State), as in: "Union Depot (North Canaan, Connecticut)"? doncram (talk) 21:47, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you look on a map, the name of the place where this train station is located is clearly and unambiguously labeled "Canaan." The fact that it is in the legal town of North Canaan (which was at one time part of the town of Canaan, but split off in 1858) is the sort of idiosyncratic fact with which rural New Englanders seem to enjoy annoying outlanders. Apparently the building is known as "Canaan Union Depot" or "Canaan Union Station" (for evidence, see the Town of North Canaan website), so the current article name is the right name to use. --Orlady (talk) 20:40, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
