Canadian Monopoly[edit]

I put in what's on my copy. I understand there is more than one version, so if anybody wants to revert my edit I would not object. -99.255.188.158 (talk) 05:40, 20 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

boxtop?[edit]

A photo of the boxtop would illustrate what it looks like on shelves. 65.95.13.213 (talk) 04:49, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Original layout[edit]

It has been a long time, but that original board layout varies slightly from what I remember, but one of the lowest properties was Duckworth Street, I remember that because I thought it was a funny name. The other two I am unsure of are Robson and Grande Allee, but the others seem correct (again, recalling from memory). I don't remember the Chance and Community Chest being renamed though, perhaps this or mine is an intermediate version between the original and the new version.--kelapstick(bainuu) 05:55, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely the board that I grew up with in the early 1980's was different. The lowest properties were Duckworth and Signal Hill, for sure. Also, Fredericton streets (King, Queen, Waterloo) were the light blue, while the Halifax streets were the light purple after Jail. Orange were Rue St. Jean, Rue Ste. Catherine, and Rue St. Jacques. The "Boardwalk" square was Douglas Street (Victoria, BC), not Robson. Chance and Community Chest also still had those names, though the cards were physically bigger than a US set.
