To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Alan Oldham. I have recently been elected Secretary/Treasurer for the Canadian University Rowing Association and am creating this wiki article as a response from student athletes, spectators, and university administrators in Canada who have made repeated inquiries into why there is no mention of CURA or a listing of the current and past National Championship teams in a central location and not even a sentence about us on wikipedia! CURA is a volunteer run association of the various participating universities with rowing programmes across Canada. There is no intention to post biased, defamatory, or untrue information or attempt to profit by the creation of a wikipedia article. I have not made any citations yet since much, if not all of the information is currently unpublished as I am the official record keeper (some individual university sites have partial results or records, but my investigations through communication with coaches and official school representatives are what I am using to formulate a factual record of conference results).

I appreciate your understanding in this and look forward to your reply. I am more than happy to read any suggestions you have for ensuring that this wiki article meets the proper regulations.

Respectfully,

Alan Oldham

Ranking of Canadian University Rowing teams:

The (UofT) Varsity Blues Rowing Newsletter Spring 2015 mentioned the team results at the last rowing championships. I wondered which schools came ahead the Blues, and set out to search for the information. The best I could find (apart from calculating myself) was for 2013: http://www.mcgillathletics.ca/news/2013/11/4/ROW_1104133923.aspx

Alan, would it be too much to ask for you to post this information for the most recent year?
