In 2014, Candover Investments is expected to relocate its headquarters from London, The United Kingdom to White Plains, New York, The United States. it will also be expected to delist from the London Stock Exchange and relist on the New York Stock Exchange. What caused Candover to crash and burn so badly?[edit]

What caused Candover to crash and burn so badly? I understand we had the financial crisis, but the FTSE has recovered quite well, and the Dow Jones is at a new record. Candover's stock price is back where it was in the 1990's. Which terrible investments were the worst? Or was it just due to over-leverage?

Also, I notice that the Wikipedia entry for Gala Coral Group (the Coral betting shops chain) says that Candover is one of the investors, but I don't see that on the list of Candover's investments on it's webpage. Has Candover exited it's Coral investment?Betathetapi545 (talk) 21:54, 10 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
